Digital Transformation Project Manager / Business Analyst Remote (Must be within the US) Eastern / Central Preferred due to working with Team on the East Coast Quarterly Travel Possible to NJ/PA 6+ Month Contract Target Pay: 70-75/hr W2 Our client is seeking experienced Project Managers with strong Business Analysis skills to support a large-scale digital transformation program within a leading global pharmaceutical organization. This role is ideal for professionals who have led technology and process transformation initiatives in pharmaceutical R&D environments and can work directly with scientific, operational, and technology teams to deliver business-critical projects. This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role . What You’ll Do Lead digital transformation and technology implementation projects within pharmaceutical R&D and scientific operations Partner with business, scientific, and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and improve processes Manage project plans, timelines, risks, dependencies, and executive reporting Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and future-state workflow design Support implementation, testing, change adoption, and operational readiness activities Required Qualifications 7+ years of Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience Experience leading digital transformation, technology implementation, or process improvement initiatives within pharmaceutical or biotechnology organizations Strong understanding of pharmaceutical R&D environments, including exposure to CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing & Controls), scientific development, laboratory operations, or regulatory processes Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops, process mapping, and translating business needs into technology solutions Experience working within regulated environments (GxP, quality, compliance, validated systems) Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills Preferred Experience Laboratory digitization or scientific technology initiatives LIMS, ELN, MES, laboratory automation, or scientific data platforms Cell & Gene Therapy, Protein Therapeutics, or related scientific domains PMP, CBAP, Agile, or similar certifications Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Visio, or Power BI What We Are Looking For This is not a traditional IT Project Manager role . Candidates should understand how technology supports pharmaceutical research, development, laboratory operations, and regulatory processes. Experience partnering with scientists, researchers, laboratory teams, or pharmaceutical operations groups is highly preferred.
