Position Summary

CyberDomeUSA is seeking a motivated and dependable Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. This is an entry-level/junior IT position ideal for a candidate with 1–2 years of experience who wants to develop their skills in systems administration and IT support.

The Junior Systems Administrator will assist with maintaining computer systems, servers, networks, user accounts, software, hardware, and other IT infrastructure for CyberDomeUSA and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical support to employees and clients.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with Windows operating system administration and troubleshooting.
• Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, passwords, and access.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and user support.
• Support Active Directory and basic user/group administration.
• Assist with server and network administration.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, and DHCP issues.
• Install and update software and applications.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and assist with resolving technical issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, equipment, and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with backups and basic system recovery procedures.
• Respond to IT support requests and maintain timely communication with users.
• Assist senior IT staff with system upgrades, installations, and technology projects.
• Visit client locations throughout Indiana and Kentucky when onsite technical support is required.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients.
• Perform other IT and systems administration duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related technical role.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking.
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies and systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are required.
• Must be willing to travel to client locations in Indiana and Kentucky when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
• Experience with Microsoft 365.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server.
• Experience with IT ticketing/help-desk systems.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Previous experience providing onsite IT support.

Client Travel & Mileage Reimbursement

This is an onsite position , and occasional travel to CyberDomeUSA client locations throughout Indiana and Kentucky will be required based on business needs.

A valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle are mandatory for this position. Employees will receive mileage reimbursement for authorized business/client travel in accordance with company policy .
