Adjunct, HVAC/R Credit part-time adjunct faculty teaching positions available in HVAC/R. The position will remain open until filled. Responsibilities Plan course instruction based upon approved syllabus and outline (provided) Collaborate with program manager on curriculum development and lab improvements Supervise independent and group projects, lab activities, or other training Observe and evaluate student’s work to determine progress, providing feedback, and making suggestions for improvement when necessary Prepare content for classroom and labs for activities as required Stay current with industry developments and relay these changes to students as applicable Qualifications Technical Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred; industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree Minimum of five (5) years in HVAC/R industry EPA Section 608 Technician Certification – minimum types I & II (Universal preferred) RSES or NATE industry certifications preferred No previous teaching required but candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills Moderate computer and technology skills to facilitate administrative and instructional requirements Technical assistance will be provided as needed and learning workshops are offered on an ongoing basis. #J-18808-Ljbffr Northampton Community College
