Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Full Time LPN to join our medical team at the Haralson County Jail in Georgia. This position offers a consistent rotating schedule with 12-hour day shifts, giving you structure, work-life balance, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a unique healthcare environment.
Correctional nursing is fast paced, rewarding, and deeply impactful. You'll sharpen your assessment skills, work alongside experienced medical professionals, and provide essential care to an underserved population, all while enjoying the stability and support Southern Health Partners has provided for more than 30 years.
What You'll Do
- Deliver patient care within scope of practice
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Complete patient assessments and documentation
- Respond to sick call requests and medical needs
- Collaborate with providers and healthcare team members
- Maintain compliance with nursing standards and facility procedures
- Provide compassionate, professional care in a secure environment
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN license
- Current CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a structured environment
- Confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Previous correctional or emergency nursing experience is helpful, but not required
