Sepulveda Law Group – Junior Attorney – Litigation, Personal Injury This is an in‑office full‑time position. Base pay range: $75,000.00 / yr – $120,000.00 / yr. Responsibilities Handle personal injury case files from start to finish. Evaluate potential personal injury claims and provide legal advice to prospective clients. Draft, review, and modify claims, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memoranda, and other legal documents. Research case law and premises liability; gather insurance policies, medical expenses, medical records, and other evidence relevant to the case (prefer experience with Westlaw). Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, insurance company adjusters, supporting witnesses, and medical providers to gather information. Negotiate suitable agreements, offers, and appropriately settle on the clients’ behalf. Make court appearances at hearings, trials, attend mediations, depositions, and litigation throughout the entire state of California. Document and update the status of all case files in the case management system (Preferred experience with CasePeer). Manage a team of personal injury paralegals, legal assistants, case managers, litigation paralegals, and legal secretaries. Track work calendar, including appointments and court deadlines pursuant to the California Code of Civil Procedure. Calculate costs and compensation totals to support drafting settlement breakdowns to present to client and insurance providers.
