ARSIEM is currently looking for a System Administrator to lead front‑end architecture and development for mission‑critical systems, translating UX designs into scalable, accessible interfaces while mentoring UI developers, integrating complex backend services, and driving full‑lifecycle software delivery in an agile environment. The position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provides support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems. 
• Manages IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. 
• Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. 
• Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. 
• Provides support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. 
• Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. 
• Configures and manages UNIX and Windows operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with Devops(Ansible), AWS (terraform)
• Ten (10) years' experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
• DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT), Level I or higher is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Provide assistance to users in accessing/using IT systems
• Optimize system operations, resource utilization, capacity planning
• Provide in‑depth troubleshooting experience
• Provide detailed analysis/feedback for escalated tickets

The ARSIEM pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other laws.

Clearance Requirement : This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
