Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Quality Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier quality to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. With a focus on PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), the Supplier Quality Engineer will play a critical role in maintaining product quality and enhancing supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough supplier assessments and audits to evaluate performance and compliance. Collaborate with suppliers to drive improvements in quality and process efficiency. Facilitate the PPAP process, ensuring timely submission and approval of documentation. Perform FMEA to identify potential failure modes and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, purchasing, and production, to resolve quality issues. Monitor supplier performance metrics and generate reports for management review. Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes. Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality-related issues. Lead root cause analysis and problem‑solving efforts for supplier-related non‑conformances. Ensure continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned. What we are seeking Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field. Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role in manufacturing. Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with PPAP and FMEA processes. Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple projects and priorities. Proficiency in quality assurance tools and methodologies. Ability to travel to supplier locations as required.
