Supplier Quality EngineerAs a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of supplier processes with production and program teams. Your expertise will be critical in resolving quality issues and driving excellence in our supply chain operations.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Collaboration: Serve as the pivotal connection between production teams and suppliers, ensuring efficient communication and problem resolution.Partnership Development: Cultivate robust relationships with engineering and sourcing teams, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks in production.Quality Improvement: Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives and Kaizen events to foster a culture of continuous improvement.Supply Chain Influence: Assess supplier capabilities, validate corrective actions, and spearhead supplier engagement strategies.Standards Compliance: Engage in audit processes and oversee the Supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to maintain superior manufacturing standards.International Experience: This role involves up to 30% travel to supplier locations, providing hands-on collaboration opportunities with global partners.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality-related roles.Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as RCCA, 8D, 3L5Y, ISHIKAWA, and expertise in PPAP elements including PFMEA, Process Control Plan, Capability Studies, and MSA.Preferred:Certifications such as CQE, CMQ, CQA, or APQP.ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.Training in Six Sigma, Lean, and Process Improvement methodologies.Join us in Anoka to elevate quality standards and make a significant impact in our supply chain processes.
