Supplier Quality EngineerRFA Engineering is an engineering service provider dedicated to delivering timely engineering support and expertise. We are seeking an Entry-Level to Experienced candidate to become an integral part of our client's engineering team. The selected candidate will work with an experienced engineering staff using state-of-the-art engineering tools & processes. This position will operate onsite at our customer's facility.ResponsibilitiesLead print reviews and part to print activitiesConduct design/process/assembly reviews, supplier FMEA reviews and PPAP approvals for outsourced parts.Engage in non-conformance corrective actions for supplier partsPursue production line quality resolutionsComplete Supplier & Line Quality containment of non-conforming partsExecute supplier quality readiness visits and key suppliersSupport fit-ups and complete root cause analysis for fit-up issues on supplier parts.RequirementsTechnical, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related field requiredExperience with all elements of PPAPMust be a self-starter, have good communication skills, and be able to work as part of a teamMust have a valid Drivers LicenseAbility to travel domestically up to 25%.Desired AttributesUnderstanding of quality systems/tools, including APQP processStrengths in facilitation, documentation and leadershipExperience with GD&T and modeling softwareProject management experienceAbility to lead without authorityAbility to convey topics at both a technical and high level effectivelyPrevious experience in a manufacturing or assembly environmentWelding, fabrication, sheet metal, hydraulic, electrical and/or paint experience is a plusVisa Sponsorship is NOT available for this role. Pay Range: $65,000-$85,000 Commensurate with experienceRFA Engineering has provided product development and engineering services to industry leading customers since 1943.
