This position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers, ensuring that our commitment to a "zero-defect" philosophy is achieved.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the essential connection between production, program teams, and suppliers to address quality concerns and guarantee flawless delivery.Forge strong, collaborative relationships with internal engineering and sourcing teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential production risks.Lead Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) initiatives and Kaizen events, promoting a culture where quality is paramount.Assess supplier robustness, validate their corrective actions, and spearhead supplier engagement activities.Engage in audits and oversee the Supplier PPAP process to uphold manufacturing excellence.Enjoy the opportunity to travel up to 30% to supplier locations, engaging directly with our partners.Qualifications:Required:Bachelor's Degree, preferably in an engineering discipline.Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality or related functions.Expertise in root cause analysis (RCCA, 8D, 3L5Y), Control Plans, FMEAs, and Process Capability Studies.Preferred:Certifications such as CQE, CMQ, CQA, or APQP.ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training.Training in Six Sigma, Lean, and Process Improvement methodologies.Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels.A passion for mentoring and coaching, with the capacity to lead and educate Quality Technicians.Location: AnokaThis role is ideal for a proactive professional eager to make a significant impact on quality standards and mentor future leaders in the field.
