Forklift Operator

Roles & Responsibilities

• Transport palletized product within the distribution center - unload, put away (double deep), bulk and full pallet pick, load, and replenishment
• Operate material handling equipment including high reach, counterbalance, electric pallet jack, and dock stocker
• Use RF scanner and WMS to ensure inventory accuracy and track products across the site
• Ensure product integrity while performing all tasks
• Follow site safety procedures, including required PPE (safety vest, safety shoes)
• Cross-train in other areas and provide backup support as needed

Experience Required

• 0- 5 years - 1 year of relevant experience required; intermediate experience with high reach or counterbalance forklifts required; Manhattan WMS experience preferred

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 2 days of employment
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents in English
• RF scanner and MHE operation
• Basic computer skills and analytical/organizational ability
• Strong initiative and drive for results

Eligibilities & qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)
• USA applicants only
• Forklift experience required (high reach or counterbalance)
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs in some areas
• Vision correctable to 20/40, sufficient hearing for equipment safety
• Drug screening required (10-panel)
• May require mandatory medical evaluation per occupational health/safety compliance
