Cover Manager We are seeking an organised, proactive and highly effective Cover Manager to lead the day-to-day management of staff absence and classroom cover arrangements across the school. This is a key role within our support staff team, ensuring that learning continues smoothly and efficiently when teaching staff are absent. Responsibilities Coordinate and deploy cover staff. Manage staff absence records. Work closely with senior leaders and heads of department. Support the effective operation of the school's cover budget. Line manage and support the development of the cover team, helping to maintain high standards of service and professionalism. Qualifications Confident, resilient individual with excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills. Experience of managing people, working to tight deadlines, using IT systems effectively and maintaining accurate records. Previous experience in an educational setting and knowledge of school management systems such as Arbor would be advantageous.
