DELVE DEEPER INTO THIS ENTRY-LEVEL JOB

As a Snow Equipment Junior Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers are prepared for New Jersey's challenging winters. Your daily responsibilities will include installing Fisher plows, salter spreaders, hydraulic dump inserts, lift gates, hitches, lighting, and flatbeds. Additionally, you will service and repair equipment from top brands such as Fisher, Western, and Meyer, as well as inspect trailers and handle general repair work. Your main focus will be to ensure that every piece of equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for winter conditions. During the summer, you'll work a comfortable 4-day week, Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 5 pm. Once winter hits, your schedule extends to Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays and overtime so our customers can rely on us when they need it most.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Ability to diagnose, service, and repair plows and salter spreaders Familiarity with Fisher or Western snow equipment preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Basic tools of your own Physical ability to meet the demands of the role Wiring knowledge a plus (but not required) Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test. #J-18808-Ljbffr Shaw's Garage
