Heavy Capacity Forklift 35-Ton Operator

We have been growing significantly over the last few years and continue to grow at a rapid pace. We are looking for a Yard Laborer/Forklift Operator for our Packing and Crating division. Must have the ability to operate 35- ton forklifts and have rigging experience. If you have this experience, we would like to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Securing of freight to flat racks and in open top containers.
• Utilizing Industrial 35-ton forklifts to accomplish tasks.
• Cleaning out/off containers and work areas.
• Must be able to follow direction, work independently or work in a team.
• Careful handling of customer freight.

Requirements

• Must have 3 years of experience with 35-ton forklift.
• Must have one year of rigging experience.
• Experience moving heavy objects.
• Working outside in warehouse yard securing freight to ocean equipment containers (open top/flat rack) for export.
• Unloading import freight from ocean equipment containers.
• Use of chains/binders, strapping material, tape measures, power tools (nail guns/saws).
• Attention to detail.
• Careful handling of freight.
• Able to withstand outside conditions during the seasons.
