Join our veterinary rehabilitation team in our brand new 42,000 sq ft hospital in Falmouth, Maine, and work alongside a Board-Certified Veterinarian in Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation . Whether helping a beloved pet regain mobility after surgery or supporting a canine athlete on the road back to peak performance, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping patients move better, feel better, and live better.

• Post-operative and orthopedic injuries
• Neurologic and chronic mobility conditions
• Pain and weight management needs
• Sports conditioning and performance goals
• Functional recovery and mobility challenges

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time: Four 10-hour weekdays
• Example schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Schedule may vary as the service grows; flexibility appreciated
• Some holidays required
• $25–$38+/hour , based on experience and licensure
• Up to $5,000 sign-on bonus commensurate with experience and credentials

What We’re Looking For

• Maine veterinary technician license in good standing or transferable CVT/RVT
• 1–3 years of LVT/CVT experience preferred
• Canine rehabilitation training or certification preferred, but not required (CCRP, CCRT, CCAT, VTS)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate closely with surgery, neurology, and other hospital services
• Comfortable handling and supporting patients of all sizes and mobility levels; ability to lift up to 50 lbs

What You’ll Do

You’ll be an integral part of patient care, including:

• Assisting with lameness evaluations, diagnostics, sedation, imaging, lab work, and procedures such as joint injections
• Providing nursing care and prescribed rehabilitation for inpatient and outpatient patients
• Performing rehabilitation modalities including underwater treadmill, laser therapy, and shockwave
• Safely transferring and supporting patients with significant mobility limitations
• Fitting and using mobility aids such as canine carts and Help ’Em Up harnesses
• Managing patient intake and discharge
• Maintaining rehabilitation equipment and supplies
