Corporate Associate Attorney (3-6 yrs) - Am Law 100 Firm

About the Position:

Our client, a Midwest-based international law firm, is actively seeking a corporate lawyer to join its Chicago office as an associate. This firm's corporate practice supports the finance and governance needs of public and private companies, government entities, venture capital funds, financial institutions, and institutional and individual investors across the globe. The person in this position will focus on M&A transactions spanning a range of industries, including financial services, food and agribusiness, manufacturing, health and life sciences, retail, and technology.

Responsibilities:

· Assist clients with a wide variety of corporate transactions, including domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private equity, divestures, equity investments and corporate governance matters

· Draft transaction documents

· Lead due diligence teams and manage specialists

Required Qualifications:

· 3-6 years of corporate transactional experience, including M&A

· Top academic credentials

· Excellent writing skills

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation:

The anticipated base compensation for this position is $180,000 - $315,000.
