Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a critical access hospital environment
• Conduct home safety evaluations, wheelchair evaluations, workstation evaluations, and driving assessments
• Address conditions including fine motor deficits, hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder injuries, sensory deficits, generalized weakness, and cognitive impairments
• Deliver daily living skills training, adaptive equipment training, and fall prevention interventions
• Perform cognitive retraining and pulmonary/cardiac rehabilitation support as applicable
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) certification through NBCOT
• Active state licensure or eligibility to practice in Nebraska
• Ability to work in both inpatient and outpatient acute care settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting
• New graduate candidates will be considered
• Familiarity with a broad range of OT interventions including cognitive retraining, adaptive equipment, and fall prevention
