Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Emergency Department (ED) respiratory therapy position
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• May float to other CCF facilities as needed
• 13-week assignment length with 8 or 12 week options available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT, with 18 months of recent experience preferred within the last 3 years
• Active Ohio RRT license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Active AHA certifications required at time of submission with no pending certifications

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Facility is smoke-free and requires nicotine-free status with no exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) testing required within 12 months of start and updated annually
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• All RTO requests must be discussed during the interview and included at time of consideration
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Background check findings of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, with no license-related issues accepted
• Permanent and per diem candidates may not return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Assignments may extend up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to a Cleveland Clinic location
• Travel experience is not required for consideration
