Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a float position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active Ohio RRT license.

Details

• Full-time float position between multiple facility locations, with shift location communicated 2-4 hours prior to shift start
• May float to multiple facilities including Avon, Euclid, and Lutheran locations
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend work as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT required
• RRT or CRT accepted
• Active Ohio RRT license required in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
• Active NBRC certification required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required, active with no pending certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required for consideration
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screening required within 12 months of start and updated annually

• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this facility for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits of any kind will be reviewed by the facility, and license hits are not accepted
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to any facility within this health system
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
