Job Summary:
Truax Patient Services is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacist to provide relief coverage as needed. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing of medications while supporting pharmacy operations and maintaining high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions.
• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to prescription processing.
• Provide professional oversight of pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining pharmacy operations during relief coverage shifts.

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in the State of Minnesota.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems and electronic health records preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in specialty pharmacy, patient services, or clinical pharmacy settings.
