Bindery Operator Location: Arlington, TX Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pay: Competitive pay based on experience Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred 3-5 years of experience in a bindery, printing, finishing, packaging, or manufacturing environment Experience operating and setting up production equipment Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Strong organizational and communication skills Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement Preferred Experience Bindery operations Print finishing Commercial printing Packaging manufacturing Fulfillment operations Stitchers, drills, vacuum tables, and finishing equipment Production environments focused on KPIs and performance metrics Position Summary Pregis is seeking an experienced Bindery Operator to support finishing and fulfillment operations while ensuring printed products are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule. This role is responsible for operating bindery equipment, maintaining quality standards, supporting production goals, and contributing to a safe and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate bindery and finishing equipment Monitor and operate multiple machines simultaneously Review job specifications and production requirements before processing work Maintain production output while meeting quality and productivity standards Complete production documentation and job performance records Perform quality inspections throughout production runs Verify finished products meet customer and company specifications Identify and resolve quality concerns before products move to the next production stage Assist with equipment setup, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance activities Operate drills, stitchers, vacuum tables, and other finishing equipment Communicate equipment or production issues to leadership Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all safety procedures, operating standards, and PPE requirements Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and waste reduction Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and material handling Ability to lift and move moderately heavy materials Ability to safely work around production equipment and machinery Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Why Join Pregis?
