Job Description
A Mobile Massage Therapist provides professional massage services directly to individual clients in their homes or other mobile and varied locations. This role requires adaptability, excellent client communication, and a strong commitment to maintaining sanitary and professional standards while delivering relaxing and therapeutic massage treatments.
Responsibilities
- Travel to client homes, hotels, and various locations to provide massage therapy services
- Assess client needs and tailor massage techniques accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas
- Manage appointment scheduling and punctual arrival at client sites
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- Maintain professional and confidential relationships with clients
- Stay updated on best practices, techniques, and industry standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in massage therapy
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program
- State massage therapy license
- Proficiency in Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Massage techniques
- Strong knowledge of anatomy
- Excellent client communication skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Adherence to sanitation procedures
