Executive Chef
Marsanne NYC is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive high-volume restaurant experience, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of food quality, consistency, cost control, kitchen operations, and team development.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all kitchen operations and food production
- Leading, training, and managing the culinary team
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Managing food and labor costs, inventory, ordering, and waste
- Ensuring compliance with NYC health and safety standards
- Collaborating with ownership and management on menu development and overall restaurant operations
- Maintaining an organized, professional, and efficient kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Previous Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in a high-volume NYC restaurant preferred
- Excellent knowledge of food cost, inventory, scheduling, and kitchen systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment
