We're seeking a detail-oriented Consumer Bankruptcy Specialist I to join our growing team. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of Chapter 7 bankruptcy accounts, review case documentation, prepare reaffirmation agreements, and work closely with clients, attorneys, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate case management. 

What You'll Do

• Manage a portfolio of consumer bankruptcy accounts from referral through closure
• Conduct initial legal review and prioritization of new bankruptcy referrals
• Monitor court dockets and case activity to identify required attorney action
• Prepare and process reaffirmation agreements
• Track payment delinquencies and account status changes
• Request, review, and organize documents from courts and clients
• Communicate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding assigned files
• Enter and maintain accurate information across multiple systems
• Provide customer support by handling approximately 5-10 inbound calls per day
• Ensure files are updated, compliant, and closed in a timely manner
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of professional work experience 
  • Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of experience
• At least 1 year of consumer bankruptcy and/or consumer lending experience 

Physical Demands

• Work is performed in office setting
