Restaurant Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• 5+ years of food & beverage experience
• 2+ years in a restaurant management role
• Strong background in front-of-house operations and upscale guest service
• Extensive knowledge of wine and whiskey
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• ServSafe Manager Food and Alcohol Certification within 90 days of hire

Restaurant Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house restaurant and bar operations
• Ensure an exceptional guest experience and high-quality dining atmosphere
• Lead, coach, train, and motivate front-of-house associates
• Manage staffing levels, labor efficiency, and shift execution
• Support revenue goals and help control operating expenses
• Maintain strong product knowledge of wine and bourbon offerings
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
• Uphold service standards, safety, sanitation, and company expectations
• Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture
