Job ID: 7200306Location: Calabasas, CA, USType: FULL_TIMEPosted: 2026-08-12We are hiring a Staff Accountant in Calabasas, CA**HYBRID SCHEDULE** *DIRECT HIRE*Volt is immediately hiring for Staff Accountant in Calabasas, CA.As a staff accountant you will:Prepare monthly journal entries, perform analysis, and complete account reconciliations to support accurate and timely month-end close.Complete monthly reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts, including maintenance of detailed supporting documentation.Ensure adherence to processing and reporting deadlines to maintain compliance requirements.Protect confidential, privileged, and proprietary information in accordance with company policies.Support business unit leaders by responding to financial data and reporting requests as needed.Assist with internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules and validating financial statements and related disclosures.This is a full-time HYBRID Direct Hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.Prior experience in accounting or a related field is preferred. Must have at least 2-3 years of accounting experience. Experience with Yardi Voyager is preferred.Familiarity with accounting software or sub-ledger is preferred.Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) is required.Understanding of ledger accounts is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, planning, and analysis skills are required.Strong relationship management, organizing, and customer service skills are required.Candidates are expected to meet multiple deadlines, maintain confidentiality, implement process improvement changes, and pay close attention to details.Candidates are expected to adapt and flex to a changing environment.Pay Rate: $27.42 to $34.28 Hourly*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
