Requirements Pediatrix Medical Group seeks a Neonatologist to join its practice at Golisano Children's Hospital in Ft Myers, Florida. The hospital's NICU offers: State-of-the-art facility with a 70-bed, Level-III NICU The health system has two facilities and 7000 deliveries per year Cape Coral Hospital provides a Level-I low-risk delivery service Primary responsibilities include providing attending coverage at our Level-III NICU All subspecialty services available (except cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) and high-risk delivery service coverage In-house call and 24-hour NNP coverage Level-I coverage includes well baby care and back-up coverage from home Team of 10 neonatologists and 10 NNPs We value a team-approach toward care, in a developmentally sensitive and family-centered unit Our core values support a culture of life-long learning and professional growth Shifts are 24 hours round plus call from home/hotel About the hospital Golisano Children's Hospital is part of Lee Health and the only children's hospital between Tampa and Miami A stand alone 135 bed, 7-story facility that opened in 2017 Home to southwest Florida's only state-designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Unit Named top children's hospital by the Leapfrog Group four times, among many other accolades Qualifications Board Certication in Neonatology with recent experience required FL license required Benefits and Compensation Our clinicians enjoy a competitive compensation package, with many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation.
