Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Urgent Care

Schedule:
- Guaranteed hours: 32 hours/week (with alternate weeks totaling 36 hours)
- Typical shift length: 12 hours
- Shift times: Start around 7:00 AM or 9:30 AM; available shifts from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM

Assignment Details:
- Daily visits: ~90
- Rooms/Beds: 15

Requirements:
- NY RN License (in hand at time of submission)
- BLS Certification
- PALS Certification
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification
- Minimum 2 years in specialty (travel experience preferred)
- Preferred: 5 years current urgent care/ED experience
- Clinical skills: Telemetry experience and ability to interpret EKGs/rhythms

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on urgency.
- Perform triage duties to determine the nature and severity of conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.

Compliance / Notes:
- Minimal return-to-work availability: 7 days or less
- Must be willing to float within hospital as per manager's discretion
