Overview Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery, Saratoga Springs, NY. Travel - temporary assignment starting 09/07/2026 for an undetermined number of weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,080–$2,160 per week. No guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Work setting: inpatient labor & delivery unit with nursery responsibilities in an acute care setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,080–$2,160 per week No guaranteed hours Start date: 09/07/2026 | Duration: Weeks Shift: 3x12 Nights Unit scope: Labor & Delivery with nursery responsibilities Residency restriction: candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius; local addresses within 50 miles not accepted Orientation prerequisites: HealthStream pre-orientation modules must be completed prior to start Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to laboring individuals; monitor fetal status and maternal vitals; administer medications per protocol Deliver newborn care in nursery duties and support postpartum care for mothers Collaborate with obstetric and nursing teams; respond to obstetric emergencies; participate in patient safety, infection control, and quality initiatives Document accurately in the electronic charting system; perform timely shift handoffs and communicate changes to the care team Educate patients and families about labor, delivery, and newborn care; assist with discharge planning and referrals as appropriate Requirements Current NY RN license in hand 3+ years of clinical experience in Labor & Delivery with nursery responsibilities; prior travel experience required AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (within past 2 years), BLS, and NRP Nursys verification and current certifications on file Epic charting experience; ability to float within the hospital as needed Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment Orientation and compliance assistance, including HealthStream modules completed prior to start Credentialing support (Nursys verification and current certifications) Access to ongoing assignment resources and dedicated support for questions and scheduling #J-18808-Ljbffr
