Commercial Relationship Manager

The Opportunity

As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will play a key role in growing the commercial banking portfolio by developing new business relationships and expanding existing client partnerships. You will work closely with business owners, executives, financial decision-makers, and internal product specialists to deliver customized financial solutions that help businesses achieve their goals.

This is a highly visible role with direct influence on portfolio growth, client satisfaction, and overall profitability.

What You'll Do

• Develop and manage a commercial loan portfolio through active business development and relationship-building efforts.
• Prospect and generate new Commercial & Industrial (C&I) banking relationships within the market.
• Partner with internal specialists to identify and deliver treasury management, deposit, lending, and other financial solutions that meet client needs.
• Build trusted relationships with business owners, CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, and other key decision-makers.
• Analyze client financial information to identify opportunities and determine appropriate banking solutions.
• Collaborate with credit and underwriting teams to structure and deliver effective lending solutions.
• Stay informed about clients' industries, business challenges, and growth opportunities to provide proactive financial guidance.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 2 years of sales experience; commercial banking or business development experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills.
• Curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how businesses operate and succeed.
• Growth-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and exceeding goals.
• Working knowledge of commercial credit, underwriting, banking products and services, and bank operations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
