Human Resources Generalist

Facilitate programs and implement process improvements within Human Resources and across the Distribution Center. Handle all ongoing people-related projects. Implement Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs, which support our strategy. Identify ways to improve resources to provide efficient structure to our organization. Ensure compliance with Federal and State legislation related to all human resources matters. Manage vendors to administer employee programs. Help with the implementation and administration of communications plans. Help administer the workers compensation program for the facility. Requirements Bachelor's Degree BA/BS or equivalent required. 5+ years of experience in related field required. A degree in Human Resources, related field or equivalent progressive experience. Working knowledge of Human Resource practices with expertise in staffing, new hire orientation and onboarding. Experience solving human resources issues. Manage confidential information. Diagnose problems, develop alternative solutions, and recommend and implement a course of action. Proficiency in systems, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, Publisher and PowerPoint and Outlook. Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Human Resource practices, including staffing, onboarding, and compliance with Federal and State legislation. Proficient in managing people-related projects and implementing process improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.
