Operations Manager

Operations Manager to work out of our Beltsville, MD Depot. This is not a remote or hybrid position.

We’re a successful, expanding company that has been around for over 70 years, so we're a very stable work environment. We recycle used cooking oil to sell as a feedstock for renewable fuels.

Starting Annual Salary DOE: $74,000 - $77,000

What you’ll do

• Create and manage effective routes.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, fleet personnel and operations staff.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to drivers.
• Assist with budgets.
• Train and certify new drivers.
• Handle after hour calls.
• Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance/repairs.
• Manage inventory levels.
• Assist General Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years equivalent experience.
• Valid US Drivers license with clean driving record.
• CDL License With 3 Years Of Experience Preferred.
• Computer experience with logistics/routing programs or Oracle.
• Supervisory Experience Preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and related professional experience preferred.
• Excellent delegation and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.

• Handling grease coated equipment.
• Local travel as necessary.
• Variable work hours and on call.
• Ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
