TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

UNIT: Emergency Department

Experience Required: 3 years of ED experience in fast paced ED
Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, basic knowledge of critical care drips and med administration, NIHSS experience – cannot obtain prior to start, TPA administration, blood administration, procedural sedation, code blue experience
Triage experience (strongly preferred).

Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC. (NEEDED TO SUBMIT)

Charting System/Equipment:
EPIC
Alaris
Pyxis

Patient Types: Neonate to Geriatrics - all ED diagnoses seen
Heavy Mental Health population
Invasive Neuro, STEMI requiring Cath Lab – stabilized and shipped out to St. Luke's. Trauma, include but not limited to: GSW, Stabbings, Falls, MVC

Patient Ratios: Day & Night – 1:4 (acuity based). Fast Track - 1:6

Floating Requirements: None

Scheduling:
Shift times: dependent on requisition
Weekend rotation – every other

No call required
Holiday Expectations: 2/4 major holidays or every other
