Integrated Scheduler

Job Summary:

The Integrated Scheduler is a senior-level role responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the integrated schedule for a large-scale IT modernization program. This position requires expert proficiency in Microsoft Project, strategic planning skills, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams to ensure schedule integrity, risk mitigation, and effective reporting across multiple concurrent workstreams within a complex, multi-year environment. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive program-level integrated schedule using Microsoft Project, including critical path analysis, resource constraints, and milestone tracking.
• Collaborate with project managers, leads, subject matter experts, and agency staff to monitor, track, and escalate schedule risks and issues.
• Provide expert-level schedule management leadership and maintain schedule integrity across all workstreams.
• Coach and transfer knowledge on Microsoft Project best practices, schedule performance monitoring, and reporting to project management teams.
• Prepare and deliver schedule reports and presentations for program leadership, governance groups, and stakeholders.
• Log, monitor, and manage schedule risks, issues, and scope changes, proposing mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Coordinate schedule-related activities and documentation in alignment with program governance and quality standards.
• Participate in governance and stakeholder meetings, representing the schedule management function and supporting program decision-making.
• Develop and maintain a Schedule Management Plan documenting tools, processes, and reporting cadences.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in project management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project or program schedule management, including 5 years on large-scale IT modernization programs.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Project, including critical path analysis, resource leveling, baseline management, and schedule reporting.
• Experience developing integrated schedules across multiple concurrent workstreams with resource constraints and dependencies.
• Strong risk and issue management capabilities related to scheduling.
• Experience working within PMOs on large government or enterprise technology programs.
• Ability to coach and mentor project teams on scheduling best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite (Project, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, maintained throughout the contract term.
• Strong strategic planning, leadership, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in matrixed environments involving contractors, vendors, and government resources.
• Proven ability to communicate complex schedule and project management information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated facilitation and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience preparing professional-quality schedule reports and status materials independently.

Special Considerations:

• Must maintain PMP certification in good standing throughout the statement of work (SOW) term.
• Work involves coordination with multiple stakeholders in a large, complex government program.
• May require onsite attendance at meetings as directed by program leadership.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high production environment managing multiple priorities.

Scheduling:

• Work schedule aligns with program governance and leadership meetings, including participation in regular onsite meetings as required.
• Expected to produce and distribute weekly and monthly schedule reports in coordination with program leadership.
