Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial records and support the company’s financial operations. Technical Accounting Skills Financial Reporting: Ability to accurately prepare and review income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. General Ledger Management: Experience maintaining and updating ledgers, tracking journal entries, and reconciling accounts. Taxation Knowledge: Familiarity with basic tax principles, compliance regulations, and assisting in tax preparation. Auditing: Assisting in internal and external audit processes, including pulling data and validating transaction records. Software & Technology Spreadsheet Proficiency: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel, specifically advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros. Accounting Systems: Experience using standard accounting and ERP platforms, Familiar with IRELY would be a plus Soft Skills & Business Operations Analytical Thinking: The ability to spot discrepancies, detect data patterns, and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting. Time Management: The discipline to juggle multiple tasks and meet strict weekly, monthly, and yearly deadlines. Group Environment. The ability to work in an open office environment and stay focused.
