Hospitalist Physician for AI Training

Role Overview

Apply inpatient clinical expertise to help train AI systems using high-quality, real-world medical record review. This remote contract role focuses on evaluating inpatient documentation and data accuracy against consistent clinical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training.
• Assess whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
• Review inpatient documentation, including history of present illness, past medical history, assessments, and plans.
• Identify missing, inaccurate, or inconsistent information in medical records.
• Apply project guidelines and review standards consistently.
• Provide clear feedback that improves AI model performance and data quality.
• Communicate findings clearly with the project team.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current or recent inpatient or hospitalist experience within the past 2 years.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
• Comfort reviewing clinical notes, raw medical record data, FHIR records, history of present illness, and past medical history.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to apply rubrics, quality-assurance standards, and clear guidelines consistently.
• Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, medical coding, or quality assurance is preferred.
• Experience across multiple inpatient services or specialties is preferred.

Work Terms

• Remote contract engagement.

Compensation

• $70 to $100 per hour.
