DevOps Cloud Engineer - Automation & CI/CD

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We need experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or software delivery automation.
• We need hands-on experience designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable platforms.
• We need experience working with AWS cloud services and cloud infrastructure operations.
• We need experience using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar technologies.
• We need experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• We need working knowledge of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability practices.
• We need the ability to troubleshoot deployment issues, infrastructure problems, and operational incidents.
• We need the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, and security stakeholders.
• We need strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document technical processes clearly.
• We need the ability to obtain and maintain any required customer, contract, or government security eligibility, where applicable.
• A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field is preferred.
• AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, DevOps, cloud security, or a related technical certification is preferred.
• Experience with Helm, GitOps workflows, Argo CD, Flux, or similar Kubernetes deployment tooling is preferred.
• Experience supporting secure cloud environments, government contracts, national security programs, or regulated technical environments is preferred.
• Experience with vulnerability management, secrets management, IAM, network security, or secure software delivery practices is preferred.
• Experience improving release frequency, deployment reliability, mean time to recovery, or operational automation is preferred.

• We design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• We manage automated application deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments.
• We build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools.
• We support AWS cloud infrastructure, services, and operational workflows.
• We deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or similar technologies.
• We automate repeatable operational tasks to improve efficiency, reliability, and consistency.
• We implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and reporting capabilities to strengthen platform visibility and incident response.
• We support security, compliance, access control, vulnerability management, and secure configuration practices.
