Dental Receptionist - Part Time

We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, helping create a welcoming and positive experience while supporting the daily operations of the practice. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, detail oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We are a well-established dental practice with a small, family-oriented feel that values teamwork, patient care, and creating a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff.

Schedule: Part Time, 3 days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time position

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
• Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
• Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
• Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
• Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of dental front office experience

Preferred Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Experience with dental practice management software
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

The salary range for this role is $20-$23 per hour.
