Assistant General Manager

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, mentoring the team, and ensuring a great customer experience. Responsibilities Assist the Store Manager in daily operations. Mentor and supervise team members to provide fast, friendly service. Conduct inventory management: restock items, monitor stock levels, and ensure product presentation. Verify vendor deliveries and maintain accurate records. Complete required paperwork including shift reports, gas reconciliation, cigarette counts, etc. Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing coaching. Assist the Store Manager as needed with cashiering, budgeting, and store maintenance tasks. Qualifications Minimum one (1) year of retail experience. General computer proficiency and ability to operate electronic equipment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, lift, bend up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds. Good judgment, ability to follow instructions, and ability to work independently. Must be at least 18 years old. Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to work any shift during operating hours, including weekends. Physical ability to traverse and access all areas of the store, perform prolonged periods of standing, sitting, and computer work. Enmarket is an equal opportunity employer.
