We are hiring Substitute Paraeducator in Hickman Mills School District. No previous experience is required!

Payrate: $20/hr

Minimum requirements:

• require 60 college credits or passing the para pro test and HS diploma or equal, sub cert, teaching cert, or HS diploma, AND completion of approved substitute training.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive and welcoming classroom environment.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs within the classroom.
• Model the ideas that embrace diversity and inclusivity while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.

A full-time paraeducator may also be referred to as paraprofessional, 1:1 aide, education technician, teacher aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant, education assistant, learning support assistant, and teaching assistant.
