This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide crucial services by covering two consecutive FMLA leaves, ensuring continuity of care for a diverse student population. Working in an itinerant capacity, you’ll make a direct impact on multiple school sites, collaborating with educators, families, and fellow support staff to help students navigate challenges and thrive socially and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Licensure as a School Social Worker
• Demonstrated experience working with K-12 students in educational settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt and respond flexibly in various school environments
• Commitment to upholding confidentiality and professional ethics

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive social work services to students across multiple campuses
• Support students coping with academic, social, emotional, or familial challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and referrals as needed
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP processes
