Care Assistant Contract: Full Time/Part Time - Perm Hour: 20-35 hours per week Pay: £12.96 per hour weekdays & £13.96 per hour weekends Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends Location: Hayward Close, Stevenage, SG1 5BS Quantum Care is a no‑for‑profit organisation supporting over 2,000 older people across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Jubilee Court Care Home in Stevenage. Located in a quiet residential area with excellent transport links, Jubilee Court is a modern, purpose-built 91-bed care home providing residential, dementia and respite care. With beautifully landscaped gardens, excellent facilities and a strong focus on person-centred care, Jubilee Court offers a supportive environment where residents and colleagues can thrive. As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence. What You’ll Bring It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest. You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents. Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications. Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays). You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Providing personal care and support, including assistance with washing, dressing, grooming and toileting, as well as assisting with meals, hydration and nutritional care.
