A day in the life

Your day starts on a busy commercial jobsite in Pennsylvania. With drawings in hand, you confirm layout, plan your saw cutting, and move straight into rough-ins. As walls go up, you install and set fixtures—toilets, urinals, and other bathroom components—then pressure-test lines, verify code compliance, and document materials used. You coordinate with GCs and other trades to keep the schedule on track, troubleshoot issues on the fly, and perform preventive checks on retrofit projects to keep systems running smoothly.

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for commercial buildings (new construction and retrofits).
• Diagnose issues quickly and deliver effective, code-compliant solutions.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to meet milestones and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and applicable building codes.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of labor, tasks, and materials.
• Communicate clearly with clients and project teams.
• Projects are located in PA, primarily across Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery counties.

• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
• Hands-on capability with saw cutting and rough-ins.
• Fixture installation expertise: toilets, urinals, and bathroom assemblies.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working independently and within a team.
