GM Certificated Transmission Specialist

Job Summary We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented GM Cert. Technicians to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for performing various maintenance, diagnostic, and repair tasks on a wide range of vehicles. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification from an accredited technical school or equivalent experience Previous experience as an A & B Technician or in a similar role Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Valid driver's license and clean driving record Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles Perform diagnostic tests using appropriate tools and equipment Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner Follow company and manufacturer guidelines for repairs and safety protocols Document all repair work and maintain accurate records Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of work Stay updated on the latest industry trends and advancements in vehicle technology Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts (up to 50 lbs) Comfortable working in various weather conditions Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to excellence and have a passion for providing top-notch vehicle maintenance and repairs.
