Senior Project Manager - HV Transmission

Job Description
- Lead all phases of HV transmission projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, risk assessments, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate engineering, environmental, permitting, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for utility clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget objectives.
- Review contracts, change orders, project estimates, and scope modifications.
- Ensure compliance with company, client, OSHA, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and prepare executive-level reports.
- Manage multidisciplinary project teams and mentor junior project managers and engineers.
- Support business development efforts, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Manager - HV Transmission should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience managing utility, transmission, substation, or power delivery projects.
- Experience leading projects involving transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 765kV.
- Strong knowledge of project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience managing EPC, design-build, or utility capital projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
