Industrial Field Service Technician

Schedule & Travel Details Travel: Approximately 50% travel (primarily domestic/regional with occasional international possibilities). Office Time: Standard 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule at the local facility when not traveling in the field. salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Install equipment in a manner that ensures reliability and high customer satisfaction. Perform preventive maintenance on all supported equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using structured, systematic problem-solving methods. Generate detailed service reports explaining work performed, parts supplied, the core issue, implemented solutions, and required follow-up actions. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and systematic troubleshooting skills. Advanced understanding of mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and camshafts. Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment. Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and service documentation. Valid driver’s license and passport. Ability to operate a forklift. PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience preferred. Travel Requirements Ability to travel extensively within the U.S., with potential international travel.
