Financial Aid Specialist I

Position Responsibilities:

• Monitor safety for all field operations and provide proactive safety solutions
• Complete record keeping as required
• Perform site orientations
• Develop safety reports, training, and site-specific health and safety programs
• Conduct site inspections, observations, and process reviews
• Act as a point of contact for safety issues and inquiries and ensure compliance with accident investigations and reports
• Review subcontractor safety policies
• Assist with OSHA correspondence
• Assist with the pre-task analysis process

Required Skills

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Knowledge of safety policies and procedures
• Ability to balance multiple agendas and prioritize tasks
• Demonstrates leadership and accountability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Required Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a construction based health and safety role or similar position
• Experience leading a small team of safety representatives preferred

Education:

• Associates degree in safety or related field. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degree
• OSHA 510
• Safety certifications are preferred, but not required
