Work Schedule Second Shift (Afternoons) Environmental Conditions Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Job Description Location: Marietta, OH. A Day in the Life: We are seeking a skilled Welder II where you’ll contribute to producing high-quality laboratory equipment used by pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research institutions. Apply expertise in MIG and TIG welding to fabricate precision components according to engineering specifications. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain quality standards. Address technical challenges. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Support other groups with tasks as needed Demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring each product meets our rigorous quality standards. Keys to Success: Education High School Diploma/ GED required Welding certification highly preferred Experience One (1) year of hands-on welding experience with MIG and TIG processes required. Experience with quality control processes and first piece production review. Experience in cGMP environment preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating welding equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Visual acuity for detailed product assembly and inspection Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to complete required documentation including router sheets and non-conforming tickets Demonstrated ability to identify and report quality issues promptly Flexibility to work overtime as needed Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle bulky parts Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout shift #J-18808-Ljbffr
