Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• 13-week contract length
• Float requirements include all inpatient units as needed, typically to higher acuity units
• Unit may low census in 4-hour increments; traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hours of a shift
• 36-bed Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with heavy telemetry monitoring
• Patient conditions include stable/weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Patient ratio of 4:1 with primary patients and insulin drips
• Stepdown, Intermediate, or PCU experience required; ICU experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Minimum 2+ years of experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Scrub colors: any color
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Strong work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage change required; must be able to work independently and complete tasks in a fast-paced environment

The Intermediate Care unit is a fast-paced, 36-bed environment that manages complex patient populations including trauma, neurological, and post-surgical cases. The facility supports a collaborative care model and maintains high standards for clinical expertise, making it an excellent environment for experienced travelers looking to expand their skill set.
