Make a real impact by supporting students’ speech and language development in a contract role conveniently located near Bernalillo, NM. This full-time opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week working with both elementary and secondary school students across a variety of settings. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll have the chance to build meaningful relationships while helping students communicate more confidently and effectively.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Teacher certification from the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED)
• Open to applicants with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Experience working with elementary and/or secondary school populations preferred
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 40-50 students

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in elementary and secondary settings
• Develop individualized service plans based on thorough assessments and student needs
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and IEP documentation
• Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure best outcomes for students
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based support initiatives
• Utilize evidence-based practices to promote student success in communication, articulation, fluency, language, and social skills
